The content or information you are sharing should determine the platform you use.
For example if you are about doing videos then you should be thinking of using Youtube, If you are looking at writing texts and building groups or communities then its Facebook or LinkedIn.
The later is also awesome for corporate business people, recruiters and job seekers.
